The Primates of the Anglican Communion gathered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to discuss many things. After their week together, they issued a statement which took particular attention toward the Episcopal Church, it’s actions at General Convention and response to the Windsor Report. They were still focused on homosexuality and the episcopate in the U.S., and proposed a new innovation of a Primatial Vicar who would oversee congregations that wish to break away and not recognized PB Katharine Jefferts Schori as Presiding Bishop.
