After our patron, Luke, we seek to proclaim the love and healing power of
the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our ministry and mission.
The congregation that gathers for worship reflects the diversity of our
surrounding urban/suburban community, with traditional and non-traditional
families and many single people. This is a multi-cultural, inter-generational
community, and one that welcomes all, regardless of race, age, gender, or
sexual orientation. This parish has been intentional in its efforts to address
sexism in the church at all levels of ministry and leadership. We intend
to be a place of spiritual growth for all of our members and a community
of people who will make a Christian witness in society.
