Every Sunday the Girls Choir and Schola, with the Choir of Men and Boys meet for rehearsal at 9:00 warming up for the 10:00 AM Sung Eucharist. In the summer the St. Luke’s Singers begin their rehearse at 8:30 for the 10:00 AM Sung Eucharist as well. The commitment of all these choirs to their calling is remarkable. A typical week includes 11 hours of rehearsal, with the average choirboy/girl happily spending two afternoons and one evening working diligently to prepare God’s praises.

Pastoral Care is always available, via the clergy or Pastoral Care Ministries. Eucharistic Ministers take communion to parishioners who are unable to attend regular services because of illness, disability or responsibilities in care giving. The Pastoral Ministers assist the clergy by visiting hospitalized and homebound parishioners and those in nursing care, in addition to families, especially those who are having difficulties or have sustained a loss. They also assist with the organization of meal delivery to those in need and the delivery of flowers at Christmas and Easter to homebound individuals or families. Listening Hearts, through active listening and prayer, minister to those who are grappling with major life and career issues. The Healing Ministers serve at the healing alter during services with prayer and laying on of hands.
