If you would like to have flowers placed in the sanctuary on a Sunday, you may call the parish office at 847-475-3630 ext 31 or contact coordinator Diane Hutchinson directly via email dhutchn@sbcglobal.net Moveable Feast meets every Saturday morning at St Luke’s kitchen, preparing sandwiches for the homeless. If you would like more information on Moveable Feast, contact the Parish Office or Michael Schreyer via email michaeledits@aol.com. Outreach opportunities available to parishioners include: tutoring in partnership with Family Matters and the Chicago Association of the Lost Boys of Sudan, weekly feeding of the homeless through Moveable Feast, giving gifts through the Cathedral Shelter for the Diocese of Chicago, sales and stocking assistance at Ten Thousand Villages to ensure that the creators of its hand-made products receive a fair price for their labor, and leading people of diminished capacity in Sunday worship. We have also actively assisted victims of political repression who have sought sanctuary in our community and continue to fund a number of ministries through our pence jar collections.
